    Hey guys

Apologies if this has already mentioned but i think positive and negative values of parameters would be much more intuitive if positive values emanated from the left margin and negative values emanated from the right margin, instead of both coming from the left margin with the 14-16 lights on for negative values.

    what do you think?

    cheers!

ps: god i love this machine – i wish i didn’t have to go to work

We had experimented with this a while ago and while it is visually great, what you propose makes it hard to read out values, if that is what you need to do.
Any other opinions on this? I have always wondered how often values are actually read as numbers anyway..

I can’t say I’ve ever had a problem with negative amounts being displayed as they are.

I don’t use the LEDs on the last columns either, I just know when I turn a knob counterclockwise that it goes negative if I go past zero, I think being able to "read" the numeric value is important (more important than filling in from the right).

    cheers
