Selecting a MIDI port

My shell just arrived and it is FANTASTIC! Thanks genoQs!
I swept through the operations manual, but I didn’t notice anything about how to set a MIDI port for a step/track(it defaults to 1 but I want to use both). Can anyone tell me?

as I recall, when you choose a midi channel for a track, you can turn the LEDs red instead of green, & that’s the other port. I think.

In PAGE mode, grab the track (i.e. hold down the SEL button corresponding with the track involved) and turn the MCH pot.

MIDI ports are set on a per-track basis.
