I just had an idea on what would be a pretty cool usage for the USB port:
In addition to the obvious MIDI IN/OUT functionality between the computer and Nemo, it would be really nice if you could attach an SD card reader to Nemo to save the whole machine state (grid, pages, tracks, steps, etc.).
When saving the whole machine state, each of the step buttons would represent one save/load location on the SD card. Now you could easily choose where to / from where you’re going to load/save your songs.
Would this be possible? It would be a really nice addition.
