new tutorial (advanced page clusters)

Hey all,

I just posted another tutorial for the Octopus. I cover page clusters and how to use multiple page clusters to build complex structures.

And I didn’t specifically cover it in this video, but the same method can be used to create arbitrary sequences of pages (without using clusters) and because you have nine tracks in a page, you can use a single page to control active pages in all other rows! It gets complicated fairly quickly!

This can also be combined with the GRID page set function to create structures.

One thing I did notice is that the Octopus does not reliably respond to the program change messages, sometimes I would have to start and stop the sequencer 5 or 6 times before it recognized a program change. (bug?)
