    Yes, I have been beta testing, so I have been through the new features already.
    Just want to share that I am v-e-r-y happy with it.

    The absolute highlight for me is the new rechanneling. Goodbye to using external ways to rechannel the midi input.
    Then there is the new phrase engine. Lots of creative possibilities are to be discovered here. 48 user definable phrases, to be edited in a very nice phrase edit mode.
    And where would you be if a OS update killed all your phrases?
    Enter the new and much improved OS update system. Much simpler than before, and all your settings survive!

    Add to that several important fixes, and you have IMHO the most important Octopus update yet.

    Does it mean that the settings survive the upgrade, or that after the upgrade the setting will survive subsequent upgrades?

    The latter.. Lars’ settings did survive the upgrade, but he had a 1.6 beta version installed already.
