Here’s a newbie question for you guys:

I’m in a page and select, say, 8 steps using the SEL button, to tweak e.g. the pitch. Works great.

Later on, I want to tweak 2 other steps, press the SEL button and see myself contronted with the previous 8 step selection. Super cool in many situations, but not right now, since it means I first have to de-select the original 8 steps, and then select my new 2 steps before I can edit them. Way too much work.

So… how do I clear the current step selection store? I’m aware of the step selection stores (way cool!) and I’ve learned how to *fill* them. But how to *clear* a store?

Or even better, is there a way to start a fresh new step selection (which auto clears the current store) using a special button sequence?

With the selection on, push ESC and the selection is cleared.

BTW I think this topic belongs in User Exchange, not?

Thanks! You saved my life. Well, almost. ;)
Esc, why didn’t I think of this? Is this in the manual, btw?

Guess you’re right about the User Exchange section.

    I haven´t looked:)
A general tip: Look for stuff that light up when you press a button. In this case when ESC lights up with the selection on, this means that ESC will do something when pressed.
