return to zero message- ableton

i ran into this problem with the schaltwerk. when using the pus with ableton. how does one set all the clips back to zero with the stop button on the pus? it doesn’t throw a message to restart the clips. but eventually by double clicking the schaltwerk’s stop button, it would send a message to ableton to flip the clip clocks back to 0.0

but i’m not sure if the stop button can send a message out. i mean i can program another step to automate a shuttle command, but that’s gay. also to do cool start/stop effects for the clips isn’t as fun either.

anyone have any suggestions?

The Shaltwerk maybe sends a MIDI song position 0 message to indicate the start-of-song situation. The Octo doesn’t do that. It does send a MIDI clock stop message though.

Could you find out in the Shaltwerk specs what it transmits in that particular situation?
