OS update from 1.02 to 1.60

Hi,

i try to update to the new os; sending the file (via sysex librarian) seems to work well, but at the end the program led blinks in orange and the display (the matrix lights) is not clear.
i tried several times with different settings in the sysex librarian.
i read that i do not need to perform any "pre-steps" before uploading the newest os(160).
could it be that in os102 i have to do "pre-steps" (like instaling an os-updater)??

Hello Timo,
honestly, I have not tried to upload OS 1.60 on top of 1.02. If direct upload was not successful, you may want to try and install the OS updater utility first, and then try to install 1.60. Hope it works out.

the instalation of the upadter utility worked (its showing the number 99 in the number display/ outer ring) the instalation of os 160 (on top of it) did not work. please give me downloadlinks for os-files that i can install to later install os160 in "2nd step".

Hi Timo,
with the updater installed, please try to install OS 1.42 from this link:
http://genoqs.net/downloads/OCT_OS_v142.syx
From 1.42 to 1.60 you should be able to do a direct step.
