Groove is not enough

While I do think this subject have been touched once or twice before, it’s something that needs repeating. Although the groove function in the Octopus does give some sort of functionality – it’s not nearly enough.

How do you people work when you need some more swing should be adapted? The most obvious answer is of course, is to swing it in the computer – but for my next project, I’d rather work entirely in the Octopus.

i like randomizing the note lengths and making sure the release on the envelope of my synth is turned up pretty far.

That was a very cool idea – how do you do that? I’m a bit noob here, my Octopus haven’t got any use the last year so I’m a bit rusty.
